Become a Volunteer

Lewis County Fire District 2 is always looking for more local citizens to join out volunteer team!

Along with helping your community, there are other benefits to becoming a volunteer, such as emergency and fire response weekly trainings to gain skills that you can apply on-scene, as well as in your own life.

To become a volunteer, please come by our office at 150 N Second Street - Toledo, WA 98591 between 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday to pick up a volunteer application.

Once you turn in your application, you will be invited to a training to meet some of our volunteers and learn more about the station, as well as have an interview with the Fire Chief and lead trainer.

During your interview, the Fire Chief will go over the expectations of volunteers, as far are their responsibilities as a volunteer, the minimum requirements for trainings to attend and calls to respond to. If all things appear to be a fit, then the process will start to get you one our volunteer roster.

We encourage any citizen that wants to make a difference in their community or simply learn more about volunteering to come by the station and chat with our staff.
