Washington Surveying & Rating Bureau Classification

Washington Surveying & Rating Bureau updates Protecting Class rating for LCFD#2 St.2-3 Evans Road

Effective September 1, 2020
Washington Surveying and Rating Bureau (WSRB) has updated the Protection Class rating for Lewis County Fire District 2’s Fire Station 2-3 on Evans Road.

The improved rating was due to the addition of a structural firefighting engine at the station. We recommend residents that live near Station 2-3 contact their insurance agents to determine the relative effect this updated Protection Class rating will have on their insurance premiums. Protection Class ratings for individual dwelling and commercial properties are available free of charge by calling WSRB Customer Service at (206) 217-0101 or emailing customerservice@wsrb.com.

Effective September 1, 2018; Lewis County Fire District #2 received a Protection Class 6 with a tanker credit.

Lewis County Fire District 2 was also evaluated for WSRB Tender Credit, and it was determined that the community will receive this PC rating credit.

A Protection Class (PC) 6 rating will apply to dwelling and commercial properties located in the community, within 5 road miles of a responding fire station and having standard fire hydrant distribution and water supply. Properties in the community not meeting the above requirements will receive a different PC rating.

Protection Class ratings for individual dwellings and commercial properties are available by calling WSRB Customer Service at (206) 217-0101. We recommend residents of your community contact their insurance agents to determine the relative effect this new community protection classification will have on their insurance premiums.
